So we’ve covered the gateway drug, now what about the others? First off, a gateway drug is their first experience getting high and gets them curious about other drugs. Thankfully I never tried the others when I was growing up so I’m going to be discussing ecstasy and magic mushrooms.

You can either be in denial, and simply reject the idea that your teen is getting into trouble, or you can listen to what I have to say. We’re going to be discussing drugs, alcohol abuse, smoking, and other things your teen is facing and may not be telling you.
With holiday Thanksgiving Monday here in Canada already over, I realized I didn’t give thanks for the things I have. My main focus was eating as much turkey as I could until it knocked me out. Maybe even drowning my turkey and potatoes in some home made gravy and indulging in some pumpkin pie or stuffing. With so much thought going into what I was going to prepare or going to eat, I didn’t even take a moment out of my day to give thanks.
Recently I got an e-mail asking, “Why do I blog?” I never really put any thought into it and it got me thinking. I guess for me to keep blogging I should probably have a reason why I do it. I’ve only been blogging for 2 weeks really and this is the best answers I came up with so far. Who knows, maybe my reasons to continue blogging will be different as I progress.
Have you ever seen anyone do something really embarrassing, like slip on ice and fall down? Do you remember what the look on their face was? Chances are they weren’t smiling and picked themselves up off the ground and hoped no one noticed. But someone did notice, didn’t they? You saw them fall and who knows, maybe you even wanted to laugh a little bit assuming that they weren’t hurt of course.
Everyone has their reasons as to why they want to quit, some for health and others realize how expensive it can be. I’ve been smoking for the past 11 years, I’ve stopped many times but starting up again technically doesn’t mean I quit, but I decided that this time it was for good.
