                There was a saying in high school, “Peer pressure’s a bitch.” It’s true, it’s the bitch that drives teens to do dumb things. A teen will usually jump off a bridge if everyone’s doing it, but only in their mid teens. Definitely not the case in my early teens. I had to deal with a different bitch, curiosity. With holiday Thanksgiving Monday here in Canada already over, I realized I didn’t give thanks for the things I have. My main focus was eating as much turkey as I could until it knocked me out. Maybe even drowning my turkey and potatoes in some home made gravy and indulging in some pumpkin pie or stuffing. Everyone has their reasons as to why they want to quit, some for health and others realize how expensive it can be. I’ve been smoking for the past 11 years, I’ve stopped many times but starting up again technically doesn’t mean I quit, but I decided that this time it was for good.

 How am I ever going to get my day started without a smoke  or how am I going to survive a meal without a smoke afterwards?
